Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the 7Towers platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and 7Towers ("we", "us", "our").

2. Service Description

7Towers is a cloud-based Network Video Recorder (NVR) SaaS platform. When you subscribe, we automatically provision a Virtual Private Server (VPS) running Frigate NVR software on your behalf. This server handles camera stream ingestion, motion detection, recording, and remote access. The Service is provided on a subscription basis; access continues as long as your account balance covers the applicable plan fees.

3. Payment Terms

The Service uses a prepaid balance model. You add funds to your account balance via PayPal, and subscription fees are deducted from that balance on a daily or monthly basis depending on your plan. You are responsible for maintaining a sufficient balance to keep your subscription active. We are not obligated to provide advance notice before suspending service due to insufficient balance, though we will make reasonable efforts to notify you by email when your balance is low.

All prices are listed in US dollars (USD) and are subject to change with 30 days' notice. Applicable taxes may be added depending on your jurisdiction.

4. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Upon cancellation, your service will remain active until the end of the current paid period, after which your VPS will be deprovisioned and your data will be deleted. We retain backups for a maximum of 7 days after deprovisioning, after which all data is permanently removed.

5. Refund Policy

Unused account balance may be refunded upon request, subject to a processing fee. We do not issue refunds for subscription days already consumed — partial-period refunds for active service time are not available. If your account is terminated due to a violation of these Terms, no refund will be issued.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Monitor individuals without their knowledge or consent in jurisdictions where this is illegal.
  • Record audio or video in violation of applicable privacy laws.
  • Distribute, sell, or publicly broadcast footage obtained through the Service without proper authorization.
  • Conduct any illegal surveillance, stalking, or harassment.
  • Use the provisioned VPS for purposes unrelated to the NVR functionality (e.g., cryptocurrency mining, hosting unrelated services, spam distribution).
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or to our infrastructure.

We reserve the right to immediately terminate accounts found in violation of these prohibitions without prior notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, 7Towers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of data, loss of footage, or missed security events, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

You are solely responsible for the legality of your surveillance setup, including camera placement, signage, and compliance with local privacy regulations.

8. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we determine you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or to our infrastructure. Upon termination, access to the Service is revoked immediately and your VPS is deprovisioned. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us via our contact form or through the account settings.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction, as required by local law.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and notify active subscribers by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Language

These Terms are written in English. Translations into other languages are provided for your convenience. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail.
